Decided to pull the heads since this thing has a fairly large cam in it and install some screw in rocker studs. With press in studs and over .500" lift it didn't sound like a good idea. Flat tops, 882 heads with steel shim head gaskets to help bump the compression up a little.

Still waiting on some parts we had to order, but the engine should be fired up on the run stand this coming Saturday. The transmission should be assembled this weekend also. Lots to do, little time to get it done.

Engine together and running on the engine run stand. This was right after setting the timing and carb adjustment so it would idle. Will find it up this weekend.

Got the transmission all back together. It's now a full manual TH350. Used an old school B & M Manualpack

Inside back together, had to replace the input shaft and intermediate sprag. Swapped put the center support plate for one from a 700R4 for the wider sprag there.

Ready to mate this back up to the engine with stall converter and get it back in the Icky.

Finally have the car running and driving. Made a first drive video. We'll make some more videos as we go. Turned out pretty good for the first time I have edited a video. Got a cheap go-pro type camera we can mount to the car, so planning on having some fun with that. Still got plenty more to add here, just need to get the time to get it all posted.
